Dr. Francis J. McCaffery IV, D.C.
Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist
In 1996, Dr. McCaffery founded The Academy Injury and Health Center in Northeast Philadelphia. Since, he has established a close working relationship with many physicians in the Philadelphia region.
In addition to his licensure in Pennsylvania, Dr. McCaffery holds licensure in the state of Illinois. For the past 4 years he has been performing electodiagnostic studies for several large clinics in the Chicago area on a weekly basis.
Dr McCaffery completed his chiropractic education in 1992 at Northwestern Health Sciences University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
After graduating from Northwestern, Dr. McCaffery received his Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition which he completed in 1997 at the University of Bridgeport.
In 1998 Dr. McCaffery embarked on a 3 year post graduate program in Neurology through Southern California University of Health Sciences and is now a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist. In addition to this, Dr. McCaffery has completed a 1 year certification program in electro diagnostic studies at Neumann College in Aston, PA.
In his spare time, Dr. McCaffery is very involved in his home and work communities. He enjoys exercising, the outdoors, and spending quality time with his family.
Dr. Michael Guthrie, M.D.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Dr. Guthrie joined our team this year and specializes in pain management and rehabilitation. Dr. Guthrie comes with extensive experience from working with a prestigious Orthopedic and Spine Centers in Delaware Valley and Philadelphia.
Dr. Guthrie has a strong focus in Neurodiagnostic studies (EMG), musculo-skeletal problems, cervical and lumbar pain management and interventional pain management.
Dr. Guthrie completed his medical studies at Saint George's University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school Dr. Guthrie earned a B.S in Biology from St. Joseph's University.
Dr. Guthrie's post graduate studies include extensive studies and certifications in Clinical Neurophysiology and Electrodiagnosis.
